About the Role:

Bosa Properties is looking for an Executive Vice President to lead its Residential Line of Business. From masterplan communities in high growth markets, to individual luxury towers connected to the most coveted real estate, the EVP Residential is accountable for developing and growing a financially successful portfolio which maintains its reputation as a trusted developer. Reporting to the CEO, the role will lead a team of 35 people which includes Development Management, Property Management, and Asset Management.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the strategic direction, growth, and management of a portfolio of large, complex development projects to ensure objectives are met or exceeded, the value of the portfolio is maximized over the long-term, and our reputation as a trusted partner and developer is reinforced
  • Collaborate with Acquisitions, Partnerships, and Finance to grow the residential portfolio and recommend new projects
  • Work with the Development COE, including Design and Construction, as well as Sales and Marketing, to develop and refine plans to produce high quality communities that are responsive to the needs of residence/tenants and are financially feasible.
  • Lead a team of over 35 professionals, including Development Managers, Asset Management, and Property Management, to build trust and deliver market leading products and services to our residents and tenants
  • Build an inclusive environment that balances high achievement and deep support for the team through coaching and accountability, emphasizing performance with low ego
  • Collaborate with your team and other departments to identify project obstacles and opportunities that arise during the development process, and facilitate efficient, creative, and thoughtful solutions
  • Lead pro-forma analysis to ascertain viability and consistency with investment objectives. Review and monitor budgets, cashflow projections and project schedules to ensure that financial and non-financial goals are met for the portfolio


What you Bring:

  • Extensive residential real estate experience, including executive level P&L responsibility for a large, complex portfolio that includes high rise developments.
  • Demonstrated ability to listen intently and work collaboratively to build trusted relationships with diverse internal and external groups to deliver financially successful and market leading development projects
  • Proven leadership experience and the skills to inspire achievement and create inclusion among team members, balancing high standards and deep support to continually create results and grow team capabilities
  • Healthy sense of urgency and a bias towards action, excellence and achieving results
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical thinking with the ability to understand and utilize data (both quantitative and qualitative) to accurately diagnose key issues and develop solutions
  • Critical thinking and the ability to assess and discern competing opinions and facts, and synthesize varied financial scenarios with a specific focus on the relationship between risk and reward
  • Developed interpersonal skills including self-awareness, conflict resolution, and the ability to build trust and effectively persuade and influence diverse stakeholders and experts
