Knowledge of federal EA legislation (e.g., Impact Assessment Act, Canada Energy Regulator Act, etc.) is an asset. Experience working with Indigenous communities would be an asset.

Working from any of our Ontario offices, as an Associate | Manager for our growing mobility business unit, you will be part of a team offering flexible and remote work arrangements, career development opportunities and a supportive and collaborative team environment. We encourage involvement in professional associations, conferences, and support our staff to grow through life-long learning. We take pride in offering career growth and challenging opportunities within a global organization solving today’s difficult urban issues.

  • Develop and lead innovative EA consultation processes, including on-line and in-person methods, for the public and for agencies. Incorporate a human-centric and adaptive style to consultation that is culturally sensitive and appeals to the personal needs of others
  • Support the growth and development of the team by empowering, inspiring and energizing the team through project experience. Provide career coaching as reporting manager for multiple professional staff
  • Use judgment to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems
  • Create a sense of shared ownership and accountability balancing this with decisiveness and holding others to account to deliver projects on time and on budget
  • Build client relationships by providing excellent customer service and communications, identifying potential market opportunities, leading the preparation of proposals, networking connections, and other business development activities
  • Contribute to client and project success by focusing on improving quality of life and putting sustainability at the core of all you do
  • Contribute to Arcadis IBI Group’s reputation through active participation in professional associations and committees. Consistently deliver high quality proposals, presentations, and reports. Lead by example through your own professional development.
