Responsibilities


Job Description


  • Responsible for the successful delivery of a Project within time, cost and safety, quality and environmental standards.
  • Provide hands-on, day-to-day Project Management of the Project team during its execution.
  • Establish Project budget, recording and allocation of cost coding, and project budget monitoring.
  • Manage the planning and sequencing of the works, along with their sourcing and procurement, in accordance with Acciona policies and requirements.
  • Manage monthly payment application and project cash-flow preparation and monitoring.
  • Establish and oversee Project site team.
  • Ensure appropriate management of Project construction, commercial, financial, administration, safety, quality, environment and communications
  • Ensure appropriate periodically reporting both internally to ALE Construction Ltd Management and contractually to the Client.
  • Identify issues and prepare proposals for resolution of issues.
  • Tracking and reporting progress through establishment of key performance indicators
  • Trend Analysis.
  • Risk Management.
  • Liaise with and manage subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensure subcontracts comply with Acciona operational and technical requirements


Essential Functions


  • Deliver a successful Project on time, on budget
  • Provide direction and support to Project related staff and subcontract companies
  • Adhere to project budget, schedule, quality, safety and environmental requirements
  • Establish and monitor operational, technical, commercial, financial and administrative controls on Projects


Required Skills And Competencies


  • Excellent people and leadership skills
  • Computer literate
  • Ability to identify and analyze problems and provide solutions
  • Civil Engineer
  • Minimum 5 years experience working in highway projects
  • Experience managing heavy road equipment (loaders, excavators, dump trucks, dozers, etc.)
  • Civil infrastructure experience
  • Team builder and motivator
  • Comfortable working in a disciplined and pressurized environment.


Position will be located in Summerland, BC, and compensation will be based on individual skills and experience (annual base salary between $90,000 and $100,000 plus benefits)
