Project Manager

PRIMARY ROLE:

The Project Manager role will primarily be focused on Project Management activities. The successful candidate will be working under the direction of the General Manager.

Important aspects of this position include the project coordination/management of all awarded projects assigned to you.

RESPONSBILITIES & KEY TASKS

Meet with client(s)

Developing bids and proposals

Project Managing all awarded jobs

Business development activities by identifying and developing relationships with prospective clients within the the environmental industry.

Maintain relationships to produce bid/sole source opportunities for Nelson Earthworks

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Proven work experience in project and client management

Solid knowledge of MS Office, (particularly Excel), MS Teams, Adobe Products

Knowledge of project technical principles

An ability to multitask and perform under tight deadlines

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional qualification in environmental sciences

Post-Secondary Education in Environmental Science

Understanding and experience with environmental sciences or equivalent preferred

PMP preferred

Additional Requirements: Canadian resident

Safety Training / Certifications (compulsory upon hire)

1. Valid, clean class 5 Canadian driver’s license

2. WHIMIS 2016
