Regional Manager, Southern BC

We are looking for a Regional Manager to join us in the exciting work we do in the space rental industry. In this role, you will be overseeing all commercial activities including planning, and leading operations, for Southern BC.

This position is based in Langley BC, and some travel is required to client and/or site locations. 


What You Get To Do:

  • Bring a growth mindset to every aspect of the business – fleet, people, process and project execution.
  • Ensure Projects/Contracts secured by ATCO are undertaken in terms acceptable to ATCO including assessment of commercial gain and risks.
  • Develop and implement an ongoing sales plan to achieve sales objectives for the region and coordinate and liaise with the Sales Team on tender proposals and major projects.
  • Participate in hazard identification, risk assessment and risk control to ensure hazardous conditions, near misses and injuries are reported immediately.
  • Ensure quality standards/installations and projects meet both client and internal standards.
  • Review sales metrics and make recommendations where applicable and participate in sales and relevant internal meetings as required
  • Partner with Human Resources to provide overall leadership, direction, and support to the Langley office, including recruitment, training, succession planning, coaching and annual performance evaluations.
  • Guarantee all projects are executed safely, efficiently, profitably and in accordance with ATCO policies and procedures.
  • Manage facilities and real estate requirements to ensure the team is maintaining existing facilities and that land, storefront and other facilities are in alignment with our standards of excellence.
  • Ensure an agile, entrepreneurial, ambitious cultural energy that is focused on continual improvement and having fun!
  • Remain up to date on current industry trends and communicate effectively with customers about relevant industry activity.
  • Responsible for all fiscal forecasting for the region
  • Prepare budgets and business plans to support ongoing initiatives! 
  • Ensure the rental fleet is controlled and managed appropriately (e.g., service standards, location, asset location, fleet counts, quality, etc.).
  • Coach and mentor sales, operations, and administration teams


Who You Are: 

  • 7+ years’ experience in a leadership capacity demonstrating sound business judgment.
  • Proven account management and competitive sales experience in the modular space rental industry.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or another related field is preferred.
  • Good awareness of the construction industry in terms of process, permitting, contracts, schedules, budgets, planning, etc.
  • Proven ability to produce profitable branches through leadership.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong relationship building skills.
  • Willingness to travel

Salary: $120K - 140K per year (Eligible for Annual Incentive)
