Role Overview: As the Senior Account Executive, you will play a crucial role in fostering and expanding client relationships within the construction industry. You will be working closely with their Director of Sales & Technical Services at their Head Office, gaining valuable experience and the opportunity for quick growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting & Business Development: Actively seek new business opportunities, focusing on Preventative Maintenance Contracts (Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing).
- Client Relationship Management: Develop and sustain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients. Schedule and conduct meetings and presentations to assess needs and cross-sell services.
- Project Management: Price and deliver on projects, ensuring that all client needs are met and exceeded.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and meet or surpass sales quotas.
- Support & Coordination: Assist project teams with urgent matters and coordinate with internal departments to enhance process efficiency and sales success.
- Continuous Improvement: Regularly review current processes and recommend improvements to optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years in consultative sales, particularly with technical or complex services. Experience with Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing services is preferred but not mandatory.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas is essential.
- Attitude: An entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership of your role. Highly self-motivated with strong interpersonal skills.
