Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. has an opportunity for the position of Senior Engineer at our office located in Etobicoke, Ontario.


Under the general supervision of the Manager of Engineering QC/QA and QMS, the Senior Engineer will provide construction group attention to safety and the environment, provide temporary works design for project staff, ensure accurate take-offs for the estimating group and the training of co-op student and junior engineers about engineering and engineering principles.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, cost effective and accurate engineering designs for all temporary works to project staff.
  • Provide practical and protective environmental mitigation designs using AutoCAD and hand calculations and/or design software.
  • Provide accurate and timely submissions of take-off to the estimating team to ensure success on bids.
  • Supervise and train junior engineers and co-op students for engineering design.
  • Provide QVE services to projects where required.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
  • Travel will be required for sites across Ontario.
  • Work in a variety of jobsite conditions (tunnels, quarries, mines, trenches/excavations, culverts, bridges, among others).


Required Experience:

  • Bachelor of Engineering Degree from recognized university (Canadian or PEO recognized).
  • Licensed as a Professional Engineer in Ontario.
  • Experienced as Quality Verification Engineer.
  • Strong computer skills, using Microsoft based software (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Experienced in construction preferred.
  • Valid G driver license and access to a vehicle.
