You as a Senior Technology Project Manager will

  • Work with an onsite independent IT shop at one of Canada’s Most Loved Companies to gather project requirements to identify scope of work, project dependencies, and priorities.
  • Engage appropriate stakeholders, develop project plans, and manage budgets and costs.
  • Monitor the overall health of the project throughout its lifecycle.
  • Work closely with vendors and Subject Matter Experts to ensure that best practices and value services are provided, and objectives, budgets, and timelines are aligned with project/program requirements
  • Collaborate with Business Stakeholders and representatives from Digital and Data Engineering to ensure a clear understanding of the requirements.
  • Identify project risks while communicating and escalating them to management and/or stakeholders when required; develop risk mitigation and contingency plans and provide implementation oversight.
  • Monitor project and team metrics, communicate with stakeholders, and provide project status updates.
  • Create and distribute project communications artifacts.
  • Assist in business development efforts, set, and monitor project budgets and staffing requirements, and establish key project criteria metrics.
  • Plan and lead status review meetings, train and manage the project team, and assist in resolving any technical or operational issues as required.

 Is this the right role for you? 

  • You have a minimum of 7-10 years relevant work experience in a professional environment with cloud, on-premise infrastructure and application implementation.
  • You have strong people management skills along with a solid experience in strategic planning, risk management, change management, and project management.
  • You have a solid understanding of Agile, Kanban and waterfall project management methods.
  • You enjoy a talented, inclusive, diverse, and engaged team in a challenging, and fast-paced environment
  • You have an ability to drive to big picture goals and milestones while valuing and maintaining a strong attention to detail.
  • You also possess an ability to quickly identify and drive to the optimal solution when presented with a series of constraints
  • You possess a PMP or CSM certification with a Bachelor of Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related degree
