Vice President, Field Operations

Shack Shine is looking for a Vice President, Field Operations to join our growing team! As the leader of the Field Operations team, you will be responsible for growing top line revenue across our organization through our Franchise Partners and your team of regional Field Managers.


You have an entrepreneurial spirit with deep experience across Franchising, coaching, and performance management, and you’re excited to roll up your sleeves and work shoulder to shoulder with your team and our Franchise Partners. You’re equally comfortable around a boardroom table developing annual strategic plans as you are in the field climbing a ladder or washing a window. You love developing training programs, are relentlessly goal-driven, and can lead through change. You’re calm and cool under pressure, and in fact you love a good challenge. Your teammates turn to you when they need support and guidance.

For this role we anticipate that you will be in the office 25% of the time, on the road 50% of the time, and working remotely 25% of the time.


A Day in the Life

  • Collaborate with Managing Director and brand leadership team to set annual goals and strategic pillars
  • Drive overall top line revenue growth for the organization through our Franchise Partners
  • Leverage Coaching tools and resources to engage and develop direct reports and Franchise Partners in support of their goals
  • Build long-term relationships with Franchise Partners and identify business growth and profitability opportunities through performance coaching
  • Proactively support team and Franchise Partners in conflict resolution
  • Lead through change: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies and drive and measure franchise partner adoption of new programs, tools and resources
  • Align with other functional areas within the Shack Shine Brand team to deliver exceptional service to Franchise Partners
  • Provide direct support and development to portfolio of franchise partners
  • Conduct regular field visits to each Franchise Partner within portfolio; and shadow visit with FOMs annually
  • Develop and execute training programs
  • Enforce brand compliance to maintain consistency throughout the system
  • Oversee launch process, onboarding, and training for all new franchise openings
  • Collaborate with Marketing team to develop local field marketing initiatives to support new customer acquisition


What You Bring To The Table

  • 15+ years progressive experience across Franchising or multi-unit operations
  • Demonstrated experience in performance management, goal attainment and coaching
  • Exceptional financial management, business acumen, and strategic planning skills
  • P&L / budget accountability
  • Leadership experience in small or start up business - ability to flex between strategic discussions and detailed operations execution
  • Demonstrated experience leading through conflict and or change management
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50% of the time across North America
