About the role

As the Vice President of Logistics at ANDY, you will be a key driver in expanding our client base and optimizing the brokerage operations. This full-time and permanent position requires a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of brokerage in the transportation industry.

What you’ll do here:

Brokerage Strategy Development:

· Develop and implement a comprehensive brokerage strategy to maximize revenue and market share.

· Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, fostering growth in existing and new markets.

· Collaborate with the Executive team to align brokerage strategies with organizational goals.

Team Leadership and Development:

· Lead and mentor a high-performing brokerage team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

· Set clear performance expectations and provide ongoing coaching and feedback.

· Drive recruitment efforts to attract top talent to the brokerage team.

Client Relationship Management:

· Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and shippers.

· Oversee the development and execution of client engagement plans.

· Monitor client feedback and market trends to enhance service offerings.

Brokerage Performance Reporting:

· Provide regular reports and updates to the executive team on brokerage performance, market trends, and opportunities.

· Conduct regular brokerage meetings to review performance metrics and discuss strategies for improvement.

· Collaborate with the Finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting of brokerage results.

Budget and Resource Planning:

· Work with the Finance team to develop and manage the brokerage budget.

· Allocate resources effectively to support brokerage initiatives and achieve targets.

· Collaborate with other departments to optimize resource utilization.

Performance Metrics and KPIs:

· Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the brokerage team.

· Conduct regular performance reviews and assessments.

· Implement strategies to address performance gaps and enhance team productivity.

What you bring to the table:

· Proven experience in a senior leadership role within transportation brokerage, with a minimum of 8 years of progressive responsibilities.

· In-depth knowledge of the transportation and logistics market, with a focus on cross-border operations.

· Strong leadership and team management skills.

· Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.

· Strategic thinking and the ability to drive results in a competitive market.
