We’re currently looking for a Videographer to join our rapidly growing photo/video team at SitePartners. This role will require a number of skills to contribute in all phases of video production, and an ability to deliver a diverse styles of video production (i.e., interview/docu-style, conceptual commercial advertising, short-form storytelling and more).


We’re looking for a resourceful storyteller/shaper who is passionate about producing great video work. Most importantly, this ideal candidate has the portfolio of video production and post-production examples to back it up.


This position is full-time with a mix of working from the SitePartners head-office and remotely as well as on-site for shoots. We pride ourselves on offering a flexible working environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with Creative Director, production lead, post-production lead and other team members on video shoot pre-planning, storyboarding and creative ideation.
  • Serve as a camera operator on photo/video shoots for our industrial sector clientele.
  • Set-up and tear down of video, lighting & audio equipment.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it is kept in working order.
  • Consult with team on equipment list, making suggestions for improvements as required.
  • Post-production on video projects including editing content for: corporate videos, advertisements, social media micro videos and more.
  • Frequent travel (primarily within BC) for video shoots.


Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • Formal training or demonstrated experience in the field.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in both video production and post-production.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe software editing programs (Premiere, Lightroom etc)
  • Familiarity with Google Suite, Slack and Project Management tools an asset but not required.
  • Ability to work quickly, independently and under pressure.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license and transportation.
  • Physically able to lift 30lbs regularly, operate video equipment. (This stuff is heavy.)
